St Thomas the Apostle
FINSBURY PARK

Caring for our community
and our world

When Jesus walked the earth, he demonstrated God's love through practical acts of kindness, tolerance and generosity. As His body worshipping in Finsbury Park, we hope to do the same. Listed below are some of some of the activities we are involved in to support people who live in our area:

- we have a Fairtrade stall every month
-
St Thomas' Playgroup uses the hall on weekdays
- we have links with local schools
- we support Islington Churches' Bereavement Service
- we contribute to St Mary Magdalene's Centre for Asylum Seekers
- we are a welcoming and open church for lesbian & gay people
- we are linked with St Peter & Paul, Maputo
- we correspond with prisoners under death sentence

- we are in dialogue with our Muslim neighbours (Muslim Welfare House and
  North London Central Mosque
)
- we are an Eco-Congregation
